Affordable Connectivity Program

Mercury Broadband was founded on the idea of bridging the rural broadband gap and providing high-speed internet access to rural America. High-speed Internet is no longer a luxury. Households need it for work, school, remote healthcare, and much more.

The Affordable Connectivity Program is an FCC program designed to help eligible households pay for broadband Internet service. For eligible households, the program provides a monthly discount of up to $30 (up to $75 for households on Tribal Lands) towards the amount charged for residential broadband Internet service, after any other discounts are applied. Discounts are applied via a credit on the subscriber’s monthly bill.

Mercury Broadband is proud to partner with the FCC to be a participating Internet Service Provider and help deliver as much of this financial benefit as possible. Our sales team can walk you through the application process.

Who Is Eligible for the Affordable Connectivity Program?

A household is eligible for the Program if they meet at least one (1) of the following:

Eligible households may receive the Program benefit from any participating provider and may transfer their benefit to Mercury Broadband at any time. Eligibility determinations are at the sole discretion of the FCC and the Universal Service Administrative Co. (“USAC”) who oversees administration of the benefit program. Mercury Broadband representatives cannot contact USAC on behalf of a consumer.

Eligibility determinations are subject to change and must be renewed annually by USAC. Subscribers who are no longer eligible for the benefit will have the ACP discount removed from their account.

What Internet plans/speeds qualify for the program?

Any Mercury Broadband Internet service that provides greater than 25Mbps downlink may qualify for the program. Please contact Sales by calling (800) 354-4915, option 1, or by E-mailing sales@merucrybroadband.com to determine if your address can receive a qualifying broadband Internet service.

How do you apply for the ACP benefit?

Mercury Broadband consumers can apply for the benefit directly through USAC by visiting ACP – Universal Service Administrative Company and clicking the “Apply Now” button to get started. Eligibility determinations are at the sole discretion of USAC. Mercury Broadband representatives cannot contact USAC on behalf of a consumer to process enrollment or to inquire about the status of an eligibility decision.
